Frome

Catherine street frome

The “Best Place to Live in the Southwest”, according to The Sunday Times.

Frome is a busy, charming town with plenty to offer. Situated on the edge of the Mendips, Frome developed initially as a settlement thanks to its plentiful supply of flowing water and natural springs, which provide clean fresh water for the town to this day. In the 19th century it developed into a market town, and has had a thriving community ever since. Today it’s renowned for its independent shops and arts venues.

Frome is home to an abundant array of beautiful parks and outdoor spaces, and for those looking to travel a bit further, the wider Somerset countryside surrounding the town makes for a stunning day out.
